About this Package

Karwa Chauth is an annual Hindu festival, when married women observe fast for the wellbeing and long life of their husbands. This day marks the commencement of festivities for Diwali celebration. The day falls on the fourth day of Kartik month in Hindu calendar, just nine days before Diwali. The tradition of observing fast on Karwa Chauth is keenly followed by married women. They prepare special food items which may include Halwa, a sweet dish & puris etc. They dress up to break the fast after praying to Chandra dev and seeing their husband’s face through the sieve.
