Second most important event in child’s life is an occasion of blessings of God and family members is Mundan ceremony. This is performed at the time of the first haircut of newly born child. Growth of new hair heralds the faster growth of child and their inception into society. On this occasion, special Havan/yajana is organized and Pooja is performed on this occasion to bless the child.
